2 Times the Trouble

September 9 & 10th this year were 2 very special days for us!
Our 2 boys which are 22 months apart celebrated 2 birthdays.
On the 9th, Lohena made 2 months old and
on the 10th Marcus entered the wonderful world of 2's! Yay! My happy, smiley baby!!
Who does he look like?
I've heard he looks a little like me!
{I think he's got it down!!! hahaha}

Grandma "Nana" Durrett

i absolutely love my mom, i hope she knows.
i LOVE her because she is kind and always helpful.
she never speaks unkindly about anyone and she is extremely patient.
she is the embodiment of the "aloha" spirit~always willing to give.
i especially love her because she makes me laugh!
when she was here we went to the park with marcus.
he was riding this chair type toy that spins.
my mom decided that it looked like fun and jumped on with him....
next thing you know, she is flying off tumbling and rolling in the grass.
{i'm talking crazy hair with grass in it and all down her back!}
we ALL laughed...HARD!
...she got back on of course!

We LOVE you nana, come back soon!

Labor Day Weekend

Unfortunately, this Labor Day Weekend wasn't the nicest weather, {but really what can be expected?!?} but it didn't stop us from doing some FUN stuff. First of all my momma was in town and it's always fun when she is here {cuz she takes the kids!}. And even though Marcus was getting over hand-foot-mouth disease, (it's going around) he still had a blast at the Family Fun Center in Southcenter. We were invited by some friends and go to play for FREE!! THANK YOU!
{Marcus was a little short to ride the cars, but no one really checked. He had so much FUN! ...and of course I was nervous.}

HAWAII

This summer we had the chance to go home for Alana's wedding. When Lohena was almost 3 weeks old, I flew down with the 2 boys all by myself, CRAZY I know; but it actually went really well. Cameron met us later, and it was the first time in awhile that the whole family was together at home. It was so much fun to be with all my bros and sis, I wishe it didn't have to end!

We went to the Hilton Waikaloa
rode the tram the boat
and the slides!

Kamahele sleeping in the pool!

Uncle Paks!!!

Marcu & Kira even got along for a bit!

Meet the Yates'

On August 11th, 2009
Alana & Tyler Yates were sealed for all time & eternity in the Kona, Hawaii Temple.
I cannot believe that my little sister is married.
But I want her to know that
I LOVE her so much
&
she couldn't have found
a better person
to spend the rest of eternity with!

Baby Blessing

While in Hawaii we had the opportunity to bless Lohena.
He was even able to wear the same outfit Marcus did,
even though it was a little tight.
It was so nice to be home and have Cameron be able to do that.
I am so glad that Cameron is a worthy priesthood holder.
He is a great husband and and even better father!
He gave a great blessing and it was so special to have my family participate.

He LOVES me...He LOVES me

Cameron came home with these just because!

2 weeks old!

Today Lohena made 2 weeks old, and I will admit time has flown by and mostly as a blur. There were times when I doubted my capabilities as a mother, when the house stood no chance of being cleaned, I hadn't brushed my teeth, and when I was certain that Marcus was not going to make it to his 2nd birthday. But, I can honestly say, I am one happy mommy! I couldn't imagine our little family without him. Everyone is adjusting, but we are finally getting on our own schedule and doing good. I really can't complain, I do manage to get a nap in every day! Marcus fulfilling his big brother duties, getting diapers and of course holding his baby!

Knocked out!We even managed to leave the house and vist great grandma Margaret.Same outfit Marcus wore!Cousin Miles
