Seabrook

Last weekend

we had the opportunity to venture out to

Seabrook on the Washington Coast

{a quaint beach town with the cutest rental cottages!}

While there,

Cameron & Jason went fishing with a friend,

HOWEVER, still no fish!

Regardless, the town is so cute and it was

an all-around gorgeous day!

{Thanks Chris & Debbie, we had a blast!}

Fishing

So whatever Kamaile said about fishing is incorrect. I in fact caught three fish, two trout and on Silver. I released the two trout and lost the silver when I was getting it out of the water.

Salmon Days

Every year at this time the hatchery is filled with salmon and the town of Issaquah commemorates the salmon with a weekend filled with shenanigans. This year however, we were unable to participate in the festivities, but didn't miss our chance to see the fish!
The life of a salmon is one of great sacrifice...

Marcus' Birthday Party

This past Friday Marcus

had his first "real" birthday party.

We celebrated his second year of life at no other than:

Chuck-E-Cheese.

{Duh, a place where a kid can be a kid!}

All of his little friends came,

we ate lots of pizza and had a blast!

He was so excited to open his presents

and play with all his new toys.
